The Science
Evidence-informed formulation, grounded in real-world experience
Healthy ageing is a complex process influenced by nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, genetics, environment, and access to appropriate healthcare. No single ingredient can address every aspect of ageing, and no supplement can replace a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle.
Our approach is therefore not built around a “miracle” ingredient.
Instead, we focus on carefully selected nutrients and functional ingredients that may support different aspects of wellbeing, including energy metabolism, antioxidant activity, nutritional status, skin health, physical function, and everyday vitality.
The goal is to create a practical, complementary formula that makes evidence-informed supplementation simpler.
Healthy ageing is multifactorial
Ageing does not result from one pathway alone.
Over time, changes may occur across multiple biological systems, including:
- energy production and mitochondrial function;
- oxidative stress and antioxidant defence;
- protein maintenance and cellular repair;
- inflammatory regulation;
- muscle and physical function;
- nutrient absorption and metabolism;
- skin structure and hydration;
- cognitive and nervous-system health.
This is one reason we do not believe that healthy ageing should be reduced to a single fashionable ingredient.
A more practical approach is to consider how complementary ingredients may support different physiological functions while avoiding unnecessary duplication or excessive complexity.
How we evaluate ingredients
Quality of evidence
We give greater weight to human clinical research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses than to animal, laboratory, or theoretical evidence.
Meaningful outcomes
We look for evidence of practical benefits, such as improvements in function, symptoms, nutritional status, or quality of life—not laboratory markers alone.
Dose, formulation and safety
We consider whether the dose and ingredient form reflect the research, are practical to use, and fit safely within the complete formula. This includes bioavailability, tolerability, interactions, contraindications, and long-term suitability.
A clear purpose
Every ingredient should make a meaningful contribution. We avoid adding fashionable ingredients in token amounts simply to create a longer or more impressive label.
Why combine ingredients?
Many people interested in healthy ageing purchase products individually—for example, separate supplements for energy, antioxidant support, skin health, omega-3 intake, or nutritional support.
This can result in:
- multiple bottles;
- overlapping ingredients;
- inconsistent dosing;
- higher total costs;
- and routines that become difficult to maintain.
Our aim is to create a streamlined daily system that brings together complementary ingredients in a practical format.
Combining ingredients does not automatically make a product effective. The formulation still needs to consider dose, compatibility, stability, safety, and the total daily burden.
Convenience should never come at the expense of sound formulation.
Evidence does not mean certainty
Nutritional science is continuously evolving.
Some ingredients have relatively strong evidence for specific nutritional or physiological roles. Others have promising but preliminary evidence, and some remain supported mainly by mechanistic, animal, or observational findings.
We believe it is important to communicate those differences honestly.
Our scientific approach is therefore based on three principles:
Use the best available evidence.
Be transparent about uncertainty.
Avoid claims that go beyond the research.
Developing the complete formula
Researching ingredients individually is only the beginning.
The finished product must also be considered as a complete formulation. This includes:
- ingredient compatibility;
- stability;
- taste and tolerability;
- capsule and powder volume;
- daily dosing convenience;
- manufacturing quality;
- testing requirements;
- and regulatory compliance.
The final ingredient selection and doses may change during development as new evidence, manufacturing advice, testing results, safety considerations, and consumer feedback are reviewed.
Science shaped by people
Scientific evidence is essential, but a product must also work in real life.
We are seeking feedback on:
- the health goals people care about most;
- the number of capsules or sachets they would realistically take;
- affordability;
- preferred formats;
- concerns about safety or interactions;
- and what would make a daily routine easier to maintain.
This feedback will help ensure that the final product is practical, understandable, and aligned with genuine consumer needs.
Our scientific philosophy
Our goal is to create a considered, transparent, and practical healthy ageing formula that reflects the balance between evidence, safety, quality, affordability, and everyday usability.
We hope to help people age gracefully, maintain their health and independence, and support a longer healthspan through informed choices and sustainable habits.
